MOVING FROM WHAT IF TO WHAT IS

JR_Blog_Moving.jpg

All those times in our life when we are overwhelmed with things we can’t control, we find ourselves asking #allthequestions.

What if I had done this differently?

What if this had happened instead?

Why me?

Why am I the one going through this?

What makes these questions even worse is that they snowball. At least, they did for me. It starts with one, and then more and more build on top of it.

And those “what if” questions are toxic. They can just suck the life out of us - whether it’s our life, our business, or whatever we’re going through in the moment.

Before I started speaking, I was in a cycle of obsessing over “what if?”

But putting together that first talk sparked a transformation...of going from “what if” to “what is.”

I WAS ABLE TO TAKE OWNERSHIP OF MY STORY.

Here’s why the process helped me own my story, and a little bit of homework to help you do the same. (And no, you don’t have to become a speaker like I did, although I would certainly cheer you on if you did!)
